Planning the Ulsan Woodcut Biennale in 2023...

The 10th Ulsan International Woodcut Festival has been prepared since the beginning of February and finished displaying works on July 19th, and the exhibition hall was opened on July 19th and opened to Ulsan citizens, art lovers, and participating artists. On July 22, a seminar and opening ceremony were held in a grand way with participating artists and domestic and foreign guests.

In November of last year, we concluded discussions with the museum on the rental, and in early February, we decided on the exhibition period for the first special exhibition hall of the museum, appointed the general director, exhibition director (secretary), and exhibition team leader, and started recruiting domestic and foreign woodcut artists. It was opened like this after spending time tightly.

I know that next year's 2023 Ulsan Biennale has a lot of expectations and interest from woodcut artists around the world. We will do our best to prepare to meet the expectations of domestic and foreign artists and Ulsan citizens.

2023년 울산목판화비엔날레를 계획하며...

제10회울산국제목판화페스티벌은 지난 2월 초부터 준비하여 7월18일 작품 디스프레이를 마치고 7월19일 전시장문을 열어 울산시민과 미술을 사랑하시는 모든분과 그리고 참여작가들에게 공개되었으며, 3일이 지난 7월22일 참여작가들과 내외빈들을 모시고 세미나와 개막식을 성대하게 개최하였다.

작년 11월 박물관측과 대관에 관한 협의를 마무리하고 2월초 박물관 제1기획전시장 답사 전시기간 결정, 총감독, 전시감독(사무국장), 전시팀장 위촉과 함께 국내외 목판화 작가들을 섭외하기 시작하여 숨막히는 5개월의 시간을 촘촘하게 보내고 이렇게 오픈을 하였다.

내년 2023 울산비엔날레는 전세계 목판화 작가들이 무척 많은 기대와 관심을 갖고 있다는 것을 안다. 그런 국내외 아티스트들과 울산시민들의 기대에 호응하기 위해 최선을 다해 준비할 것이다.
